The Philips Marconi Mx8000 4 slice CT scanner provides high-resolution images with Isotropic Imaging capability. The Mx8000 Quad provides 0.5mm slice thickness, offering excellent image quality for clinical applications such as I.A.C.'s, P.E. studies, and join examinations. In addition to the Quad slice version, Mx8000 also is available in single, dual, and 16 slice CT configurations. They all share the same user-friendly control panel, advanced clinical applications, as well as high performance. Both Dual and Quad systems can be upgraded to Infinite Detector Technology, an exponential leap in performance.
