After completing a $100,000 renovation, Orlando-based Amber Diagnostics has moved into its new 25,000-square-foot remanufacturing facility at 820 W. Gore St.
The 10-year-old company (http://www.AmberUSA.com) fixes and then sells used X-ray machines and other types of diagnostic equipment, such as CT scanners, MRIs and mammography machines. It also sells things such as X-ray film, related chemicals and equipment service.
Purchased for $375,000, the new facility includes storage space, technical support, a paint and cosmetic center, as well as office space.
"We needed the space," says Amber Diagnostics founder and CEO Bobby Serros. "We have more power capacity here, a more clinical environment and the ability to store more inventory."
