2012 certainly makes for an interesting year, especially in the world of radiology with the helium crisis, Obamacare, and changes in Medicare, and I know 2013 should be just as interesting. Though it seems like just yesterday we were setting goals for the year, that time has come again to get into goal-planning mode.
Promises. Promises. Of course the easy part of resolutions is making them, sticking to that resolution is the challenge. I found some of the most common (and commonly broken) New Year’s resolutions we make each year; and I am sure you will see some you have already made or plan to make in 2013.
- Lose weight and get fit
- Eat healthier
- Quit drinking and/or quit smoking
- Go back to school/take classes
- Get a better job
- Get out of debt and save money
- Reduce and manage stress
- Enjoy life to the fullest
- Travel to new places
- Volunteer to help others
- Spend more time with family
- Learn something new
Whatever your goal(s) may be, make 2013 the year you stick to your New Year’s Resolutions. I’ve seen too many people give up too easily within a short period of time. We at Amber believe in a second chance at life, which is why we do what we do…and I believe you all should give your resolutions a second chance as well. Since 1994, Amber has been setting goals and living up to our mission regardless of any setbacks along the road. I challenge you all to do the same.
Give me a call or drop me a line anytime if you have questions about purchasing medical equipment from Amber Diagnostics, or simply want to talk about the radiology industry. Be sure to let me know how your New Year’s resolutions are coming along. Good luck!
