Advanced Imaging

MRI Scanner Features

High-Resolution Images

Produces high-resolution images of the body’s internal structures and superior contrast differentiation, especially for soft tissues.

Non-Invasive and No Ionizing Radiation

Uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves instead of ionizing radiation, making it safer for repeated use.

Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS)

Provides metabolic and chemical information about tissues, aiding in the diagnosis of certain diseases and conditions.

Functional MRI (fMRI)

Measures and maps brain activity by detecting changes in blood flow. Useful for pre-surgical planning and cognitive neuroscience research.

Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI)

Highlights areas with restricted diffusion of water molecules, useful for detecting acute ischemic stroke and tumors.

Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA)

Non-invasive technique for visualizing blood vessels and evaluating vascular diseases.

Multi-Planar Imaging

Capable of acquiring multi-planar (axial, sagittal, coronal, and oblique) and 3D images for detailed anatomical visualization without repositioning the patient.

Cardiac MRI

Detailed imaging of the heart’s structure and function. Assess myocardial perfusion, viability, and evaluate congenital heart disease.

Coil Technology

Various coils (head, body, extremity) are used to optimize image quality for different body parts.

Advanced Imaging Sequences

Techniques like FLAIR, STIR, and gradient echo sequences for specific diagnostic needs. Reduced artifacts and enhanced image clarity.

Patient Comfort Features

Wider and shorter bore designs to reduce claustrophobia. Quiet scanning technology and faster imaging protocols improve patient experience.

*Images are only for guidance purposes.

When expanding or incorporating a new modality isn’t feasible, a stationary mobile configuration emerges as an excellent solution. This approach offers increased flexibility, ensuring your facility can adapt to evolving needs without the limitations of physical expansion.

Features

  • Dual Slide-Outs in Gantry room providing increased patient comfort and maximizing throughput.
  • Patient changing room.
  • Patient lift, roll up door and stair well.
  • HVAC and humidity control system.
  • Emergency street and curbside lighting.

Requirements

To set up and operate the mobile unit effectively, ensure there is enough room for maneuvering and positioning.

  • The patient lift, entry stair, and optional platform require extra space on the passenger side.
  • The unit’s storage compartments and service doors must be accessible.
  • Maintain an 8-foot magnetic exclusion zone from the trailer walls.
  • Level support pad or adequate space in the parking lot.
  • Hardline phone and internet connectivity.

Additional Considerations:

  • Prioritize patient access.
  • Be aware of the potential impact on the magnetic field from vehicles and other heavy metal objects that could be possibly parked close to the MR Trailer.
